Welcome to the Asian Inclusive Sailing Series 2025
The Asian Inclusive Sailing Series 2025 is a prestigious World Sailing sanctioned regatta that brings together sailors from both Inclusive and Para categories. Hosted by the Royal Mysore Sailing Club at the beautiful Krishnasagara Lake in Mysore, this championship promises an exciting week of competitive sailing.

Registration Information
Entry Deadline: October 1, 2025
How to Enter:
- Complete the Entry Form (Addendum A in the NOR)
- Send to: royalmysoresailingclub@gmail.com
- No entry fees for participation in any category
Requirements:
- Valid MNA sailing license (if applicable by local MNA)
- World Sailing Sailor ID (mandatory for official rankings)
- Parental authorization for sailors under 18 years
- MANDATORY: Valid third-party liability insurance coverage
- Complete Entry Form (Addendum A) with: World Sailing Sailor ID, T-shirt size, WhatsApp number, club affiliation

Eligibility & Classes
The event is open to sailors in the following categories:
Inclusive Category:
- Hansa 2.3 One-Person (Male & Female)
- Hansa 303 One-Person (Male & Female)
- NEW: Hansa 303 Two-Person
Para Category:
- Hansa 2.3 One-Person (Male & Female)
- Hansa 303 One-Person (Male & Female)
- NEW: Hansa 303 Two-Person
Important:
- Competitors can enter multiple classes (separate entry form required for each)
- Race committee will schedule races at different times to allow participation in multiple classes
- Minimum 3 boats required for a division to be valid
- LIMITED ENTRIES: Hansa 303 Two-Person boats available on first-come, first-served basis
- Support persons/team leaders must complete separate entry form (Addendum B)
Rules & Regulations
The regatta will be governed by:
- The 2025-2028 Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS)
- World Sailing Equipment Rules of Sailing
- World Sailing Race Management Manual Section Y, Part 1
- Para-Classification Rules of Sailing
- Support Person Regulations (including Coach Boats)
Key Rule Changes:
- One-Turn Penalty replaces standard Two-Turn Penalty (RRS 44.1 and P2.1 modified)
- Protest flag not required (but recommended when possible) - RRS 61.1(a) modified
- Boat representative at protest hearing need not have been on board during incident - RRS 63.3(a) modified
- Appendix P applies with One-Turn Penalty for all violations
Scoring System
- 6 races scheduled for each class
- 3 races minimum to constitute a series
- 1 discard when more than 3 races completed
- Standard low-point scoring system (RRS Appendix A)
Safety Requirements
- Mandatory buoyancy aid/life jacket while afloat or on pontoons
- Life jackets must be appropriate to individual's size and capabilities
- Auto-inflating Personal Flotation Devices are permitted
- World Sailing Race Management Manual Section Y.1.8.1 Life Jackets apply
- Competitors must familiarize themselves with venue-specific risks and attend safety briefings
Equipment & Boat Modifications
- All boats (Hansa 2.3 and 303) provided by organizers at no cost
- Permitted modifications: Compass may be tied/taped to hull or spars, wind indicators (yarn/thread) may be attached
- Prohibited: Any other modifications, puncturing or bonding to boat surface
- Boats may be inspected at any time during the event
- Competitors must report any damage immediately to Technical Committee
Support Persons & Team Leaders
Support persons and team leaders are welcome and must:
- Complete separate entry form (Addendum B) - send to royalmysoresailingclub@gmail.com by Oct 1, 2025
- Free accommodation and food provided (Oct 7-14, 2025)
- Register boats and comply with local legislation
- Stay outside racing areas from preparatory signal until all boats finish or race abandoned
- Mark support boats with national letters/flag (minimum 200mm x 300mm) visible from both sides
